Word List

Unscrambly uses the ENABLE (Enhanced North American Benchmark LExicon) word list, which is in the public domain. This comprehensive dictionary contains over 170,000 words and is widely recognized as an authoritative source for word games and puzzles.

The ENABLE list was originally compiled by Alan Beale and includes common English words, variant spellings, and terms suitable for word games. All words are validated and normalized for consistent, reliable results.
